First Quantum has a robust pipeline of copper and nickel projects at various stages of development:
- Ravensthorpe (Australia) – nickel-cobalt project currently ramping up to steady-state operations
- Kevitsa (Finland) – nickel-copper-precious group elements (PGE) project on track for commercial production in 2012
- Sentinel (Zambia) – copper deposit; subject to approval by the Company's Board of Directors, the project could achieve commercial production in early 2014
- Haquira (Peru) – copper project acquired in 2010; expanding drill program aimed at providing updated reserves and resources estimate in mid-2012
- Enterprise (Zambia) – nickel target located 12 kilometres from the Sentinel copper deposit; currently undergoing extensive drilling
Other projects and assets include:
- Fishtie copper project – located near the town of Mkushi in Zambia; development options being evaluated
