Strengthening Our Presence in the Puna

Our commitment to the communities continues throughout the different stages of the project.

Recent initiatives include supporting the expansion of healthcare through the Provincial Ministry of Health’s Extramuros program; opening a Taca Taca office in Tolar Grande staffed by Community Relations representatives; and participating in the 2026 Environmental Minga.

Our new office in Tolar Grande offers a dedicated space where residents, community representatives, suppliers, and public officials can meet with our team. Designed to foster ongoing dialogue and active listening, it strengthens our presence in the region and serves as a meeting point for those who live, work, and plan their future in the Salta Puna.

The inauguration brought together representatives from the provincial and municipal governments, the Kolla community, the Tolar Grande Regional Chamber of Suppliers, and local businesses. During the event, speakers emphasized the importance of creating a space for dialogue, collaboration, and training as work on the project continues.

In addition to opening our office, we have also supported initiatives throughout the region.

In 2025, we supported the Provincial Health Secretariat’s Extramuros program, which enabled hundreds of people to access specialized medical care in their own communities. Thanks to this program, more than 30 medical specialists traveled to the Puna region, treating over 1,590 patients and performing more than 1,300 medical procedures.

We also participated in the 2026 Environmental Minga in Tolar Grande, a collaborative environmental cleanup initiative that brought together residents, institutions, businesses, and organizations from across the Salta Puna. Activities included cleaning roads, tourist routes, and public spaces, as well as the traditional offering to Pachamama in recognition of local customs and respect for the land.

While each initiative is unique, they all share a common purpose: to work alongside local communities and care for the places where we operate. Together, they reflect our ongoing commitment to the Salta Puna and our ambition to grow alongside Salta.
