From our beginnings in Zambia in 1996, First Quantum has grown to become one of the leading global producers of copper. We are immensely proud of our operations and our technical achievements - but we consider our crowning achievement to be the culture that we have built and that characterizes First Quantum today.

Where “good enough” isn’t good enough

Our culture prioritises thinking and getting the job done over job titles. We emphasise self-reliance and simple hard work. We really expect people to think for themselves and we’re not afraid to give greater opportunities to our people than their job grade might suggest.
