We seek to ensure that our employees, their families and their immediate communities realize the positive socio-economic impacts of mining and that we assist in improving the quality of life for those people and communities n the countries where we work.
Our programs are developed according to a combination of location, legal requirements, international standards, community needs and risks to people and business. We continually refine our social investment strategies and, through partnerships with government and civil society, seek to ensure that the benefits of mining, extend beyond the life of our operations.

We work with our communities to ensure access to and understanding of important healthcare initiatives as both national and local levels. Our approach at each operation is different, based on the needs of those we’re working alongside.
