Panama City, July 21, 2026. Since 2025, Cobre Emprende has trained more than 1,500 entrepreneurs, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to grow their businesses. Building on that success, Cobre Emprende: The Pitch is now showcasing 66 entrepreneurs from across Panama as they present their business ideas to a national audience and compete for funding to take the next step in their business journeys.
Throughout the series, contestants will put their creativity, innovation, and communication skills to the test. In each episode, entrepreneurs will pitch their business ideas before a panel of judges and thousands of Panamanians who, in addition to following the competition, will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite contestants and become part of the selection process.
More than just a competition, the platform gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their products and services, build new business connections, and compete for prizes of up to B/.5,000, which they can reinvest to strengthen and expand their businesses.
As part of its commitment to sustainable development, Cobre Emprende: The Pitch reflects one of the tangible benefits that Cobre Panamá continues to deliver to communities and the country. By strengthening entrepreneurship, the initiative promotes income generation, stimulates local economies, and provides entrepreneurs with the tools they need to transform their ideas into sustainable businesses with long-term growth potential.
“We often see the final success of a business, but we rarely see everything behind it—the sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the fear of taking the first step, and the courage to keep going. Through this initiative, Cobre Panamá aims to shine a spotlight on those stories and demonstrate that talent, creativity, and determination exist throughout the country. We believe that supporting entrepreneurs is also a way to create real opportunities, strengthen communities, and contribute to Panama’s development,” said Maru Gálvez, Public Relations Manager at Cobre Panamá.
The production features well-known Panamanian personalities, who will contribute their experience and connection with audiences to a program designed to inspire thousands of Panamanians and demonstrate that entrepreneurship can become a powerful driver of economic growth, innovation, and social mobility.
Through this initiative, Cobre Panamá continues to strengthen programs that generate tangible benefits for Panama by creating opportunities for more people to develop their skills, grow their businesses, and contribute to the development of local economies.
